Cheryl Gerou is an award-winning author of Christian fiction. Her debut novel Tears in a Bottle won a Christian Indie Award. Her second novel in the Treasured Truths series is Treasures of Darkness. The next books in this series will be novellas.

Cheryl weaves truth and story together to touch hearts with hope. Life isn’t always easy, as we all know, and she has found the Lord to be her refuge and strength especially in her most difficult seasons. It is her prayer that her books will draw her readers to know the Lord in a deeper way or come to know Him for the first time.

Cheryl is a retired special education teacher, who still hangs onto some of her collection of children’s books, because they hold delightful memories. Books are one of the most difficult things for her to part with. She is always reading two or three at any given time.

Her life verse is Psalm 63:7-8 NASB “For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.” The Lord has helped her in writing her books, as He leads her in learning from His word and truly guides her in all of life.
